Doug Van Gelder - CEO & Founder
Doug founded ClearFalls in late 2007. He has more than 20 years experience managing and leading diverse teams in a military and commercial environment. Doug's recent background includes successful senior roles in business development with TechnologyOne (Australia's largest .NET developer), and KAZ Technology Services (acquired by Telstra in 2004). During this time, Doug's leadership has helped to close over $100 in large scale IT outsourcing projects. Prior to KAZ, Doug held key roles in Business Consulting with SMS, and - prior to entering into the technology world - He was previously a senior Warfare Officer with the Royal Australian Navy. Doug holds a Masters in International Relations from the University of NSW, Australia
Gary Angel - EVP Sales & Marketing
Gary Angel brings more than 30 years Information Technology management and Enterprise Sales & Marketing experience. Previously CEO of Strait Solutions, he was also Vice President, Global Sales at Cendura Corporation (acquired by Computer Associates in 2006) and Vice president of Worldwide sales at Jareva Technologies, (acquired by Veritas Software for $62 million in January 2003). Prior to Jareva, Mr. Angel has held key management positions at Computer Associates and Compuware Corporation, as well as several Silicon Valley start-ups, including Trivnet and EXP Systems. Mr. Angel serves as an Advisor to several Silicon Valley start up companies.
